Anime : Manga
You will find many links to anime and manga pages here.
What are anime and manga? The simplest and least descriptive answer is that ‘anime’ is a term referring to Japanese animation, and ‘manga’ to Japanese comics. It must be noted, however, that there are many differences, both major and minor, between anime and manga and their North American counterparts. For example, manga are usually printed in black and white, with a colour cover, while most American comics are in full colour. Furthermore, American comics are usually shorter (between thirty and fifty pages) and contain one serialized story and are published monthly, whereas manga are often published in weekly magazines four hundred pages long that contain several different stories. Yet these differences in presentation are superficial; the real disparity lies in the content.
